Terms of service.

By creating an account or using Misto's Financial (“the Service”) you agree to these terms. The Service is operated by Mistos Technologies LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of Oregon, United States, with a mailing address at 5411 S. Macadam Ave. #4644, Portland, OR 97239. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Misto's. You're responsible for keeping your password safe — we'll never email asking for it. One person per account; sharing credentials defeats the security model and is not permitted (the Household feature handles family / partner sharing properly).

Misto's is a personal-finance tracking tool. It is not:

• A bank, broker, or fiduciary.
• A source of investment, tax, or legal advice. Misto's narration is informational only.
• A money-movement service. We have read-only access to connected accounts.

Decisions you make based on Misto's are yours. We work hard to keep the data accurate, but bank feeds can be delayed or contain errors — please verify anything material against your bank directly.

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent the Service.
• Use it to launder funds or violate any applicable law.
• Upload someone else's financial data without their permission.
• Interfere with another member's use of the Service.

The core app is free forever. Misto's Premium is an optional subscription — $4.99/month or $49.90/year — processed by Stripe, and Grove Patron is a one-time $129 lifetime unlock of the same Premium features. Pricing is always shown at checkout before you pay. You can cancel a subscription any time from Profile → Membership; it stays active through the period you've already paid for and then simply doesn't renew. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling disables Premium-only features but never touches your data. We don't issue routine refunds on partial subscription periods or the one-time Grove Patron unlock, but reach out at hello@mistosfinancial.com if you believe something went wrong and we'll do the right thing.

Misto's integrates with Stripe (payments) and Resend (transactional email) to run the service. When you use those features, those providers' terms also apply to that part of the flow. We pick partners who match our privacy posture — see the Privacy policy.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Privacy; your data is purged within 24 hours and encrypted backups within 30 days. We may suspend an account that violates these terms; we'll always try to reach out first.

The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, Misto's Financial (a DBA of Mistos Technologies LLC) disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Misto's narration will always be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mistos Technologies LLC's aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) US $50. In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email before they take effect. The current version is always at /terms.
